About the service

This website is operated by Icon Civils Ltd, trading as Icon Labour, company number 14763903, registered in England and Wales. For enquiries, email contact@iconlabour.co.uk.

Icon Labour provides construction labour introductions across the UK. Operatives can register their skills and availability. Contractors can enquire about requirements and request access to anonymous candidate profiles.

Registration and introductions

Operative registration and introductions are free to the operative. Registration does not guarantee a placement. Availability and suitability are considered for each requirement.

Contractor pricing, the successful-start trigger, payment terms and the five-working-day replacement guarantee are set out in the separate Contractor Terms of Business. Sending an enquiry or requesting an account does not itself trigger a placement fee.

Candidate information and checks

Please provide accurate, current information and upload only documents you are entitled to share. Tell us when your availability or qualifications change. Icon Labour verifies supplied CSCS and CPCS cards. Specific site requirements, engagement arrangements and any further checks should be discussed before work is agreed.

Contractor access

Email confirmation establishes your account; Icon Labour approval is separately required before browsing candidate profiles. Keep login details private. Do not share candidate information outside the agreed introduction process, attempt to identify anonymous profiles through unrelated sources, or use the service to collect information for unsolicited marketing.

We may restrict access where an account is not approved or is used to misuse the service or candidate information.

Enquiries and communications

We respond to registrations and enquiries within 24 hours. This does not promise an immediate placement or automatic contractor approval. The labour enquiry form prepares an email for you to review and send using your email app. Where you tick acceptance of the Contractor Terms of Business, that confirmation is included in the prepared email.
